TUBE BENDING MACHINES WITH OR WITHOUT MANDREL
When approaching the world of tube bending for the first time, you can immediately see that there are various bending methods and related tube bending machines.
But what are the differences and which machine should I choose?
There are a few variables to take into consideration: first of all, we will have to define the diameter of the tube to be bent, so that we can direct ourselves towards the appropriate size of tube bending machine.
Once we have determined the diameter of our tube, the other variables to consider will be:
- Relationship between diameter and tube thickness
- Bending radius
- Material
- Level of automation of the tube bending machine

TUBE BENDING MACHINES WITHOUT MANDREL
Excellence is undoubtedly represented by our ETM series of mandrelless tube bending machines, the result of more than 50 years of experience in the industry.
These tube bender can bend tubes with diameter from 8 up to 168 mm and are perfect for processing tubes with a bending radius equivalent to 3 times the size of the tube section to be processed.
Simplicity, robustness and precision: these are the qualities that best describe these tube bending machines.
The ETM tube bending machines are easy to transport and quickly adaptable to production changes, a quality that makes them capable of offering a real production advantage.
Thanks to the “Digital Bend Programming Touch Screen 2” software, the ETM tube bending machines are extremely easy to use and even the novice operator will be able to achieve a high degree of repeatability, which is fundamental in the pursuit of production efficiency.
The ETM tube bending machines allow 49 programs with 8 bending angles each that can be stored as repeatable programs.

MANDREL TUBE BENDING MACHINES
Mandrel tube bending machines are the best solution for bending tubes with thin wall thicknesses and bending radii 1.5 times the size of the tube section to be processed.
The purpose of the mandrel inside the tube is to support the tube itself, thus preventing transverse deformation and internal corrugation of the tube. With these machines, you can make perfect bends even with thin pipes.
Memoli produces three different types of mandrel tube bending machines to meet the various customer requirements:
- ETM with mandrel: these are the entry level of core bending machines. Cheap and powerful, they are the best solution for bending thin tubes with bending radii 2.5/3 times the tube diameter. These machines can be used in both mandrel and nomandrel configurations, with a very quick set-up change.
- ETM-H: these are our semi-automatic tube bending machines. Precise and powerful, they can bend tubes with thin wall thicknesses and bending radii up to 1 time the size of the tube section to be processed. Efficiency and ease of use are the adjectives that best describe this series of tube benders. In our ETM-H tube benders, the bending function is performed automatically, while feeding and turning the tube between bends must be performed manually. When processing tubes with several bends, the positioner will make the work much easier, as this device allows the exact fixing of the tube length and rotation position between the bends.
- ACH: CNC tube bending machine with fully automatic 3-axis cycle: bending (Y axis), feeding (X axis) and rotation (Z axis). ACH tube benders can bend with fixed or variable radius in a single plane and are characterised by short set-up times and fast production changes.

For its 55th anniversary, MEMOLI has decided to renew its graphic design, presenting a new company logo.
This is a change of a fundamental element of the company, which in a moment represents who we are. The restyling of the company logo stems from the need to express our being present and our becoming in step with the times, while remaining faithful to our origins.
The new image we present is clean, graphic and minimalist. The elements that inspired this logo are not random: the colours express the strong link that unites us to our Italian origins. We chose a font reminiscent of our natural element: curved tubes and their precise, geometric lines. The letter M is simple but at the same time solid and fully reflects the philosophy that has distinguished MEMOLI for years.

TUBE BENDING MACHINE ETM 60 with MANDREL
The ETM 60 tube bending machine with mandrel is the simplest and cheapest solution in the world of mandrel tube bending machines.
This tube bending machines allows the processing of thin-walled tubes without deformation.
Our tube bender with fixed mandrel ETM allow the machining of tubes up to 90 mm diameter and are able to bend with high-level finish quality.
Extremely easy and fast to use thanks to the “Digital Bend Programming Touch Screen 2”, the software specially created for our machines is able to select as many as 49 programs with 8 bending angles each and with automatic correction of springback.
In addition, our software allows you to store your realized projects as repeatable programs.
Simplicity, sturdiness and precision are the key features of this particularly cost-effective line.
These bending machines are particularly used for the production of medium-small sized batches, for adaptation and maintenance work or as mobile bending machines on site.
When machining tubes with multiple bends, the manual positioner will greatly facilitate the work, as this device allows the exact fixing of the length of the tube and the rotation position between the bends.

FULL ELECTRIC HLN 2800 CNC COILING MACHINE
A new challenge presented itself at MEMOLI’S doorstep: one of the largest manufacturers of pig farming equipment in Europe was looking for a machine to make augers.
The choice fell on our FULL ELECTRIC HLN 2800 CNC COILING MACHINE.
Memoli manufactures CNC coiling machines for the cold bending of springs/augers, for wire up to Ø 80 mm and square bars.
The machine is used for the production of compression springs with right or left winding, with constant or variable pitch managed by CNC.
They are designed and manufactured according to specific customer production requirements, combining the best technical solutions to the budget, with the aim of achieving high production standards and optimizing costs. To ensure greater reliability, they are assembled with high quality mechanical and electronic parts.
Extremely easy and fast to use thanks to the “CNC Coiling Program TouchScreen“, it allows you to save your projects as repeatable programs.
To realize our special machines, you will find at your availability our design office, which follows the customer from the analysis and feasibility study of the project, to the evaluation of costs and drafting of the lay-out, up to the realization of the machinery.
