The ETM 120 tube bending machine allows the processing of tubes up to 114 x 8 mm in diameter, and is capable of bending over 180° with maximum finishing quality.

Its steel construction makes it one of the most rigid and precise machines on the market, plus the specially designed counter die system allows less mechanical effort and much faster processing than machines in the same category.

The latest ETM 120 produced by our company was delivered to a customer in a Danish shipyard, his requirement was to bend a Ø 114 x 8 mm tube with a 1000 mm bending radius, and the choice fell on the Memoli ETM 120 tube bender because of its high degree of customization.

These tube bending machines are extremely easy to operate and don’t require specialized operators and use the “Digital Bend Programming Touch Screen 2,” software specially created for our machines that can select as many as 49 programs with 8 bending angles each and with automatic springback correction. Special tool

Very important to the successful bending of these particular profiles is the proper manufacture of the necessary tooling.

Memoli Bending Machines designs and manufactures the necessary tooling in-house on state-of-the-art CNC machining centers or lathes. These are specifically dies (which determine the bending radius of the profile), slides, counter slides, mandrel and clamps.

One of Japan’s largest electronic equipment manufacturers visited us looking for a tube bending machine that could safely bend plastic material bars.

Our Eurekamatic, equipped with an automatic vice and perimeter laser scanner, was the solution we found to meet the customer’s need.

In fact, thanks to the customization of the tube bending tools, Eurekamatic becomes a highly efficient tube bending machine guaranteeing an excellent degree of repeatability.

Eurekamatic is more than just a machine; in fact, it allows as many as 4 different processes to be performed: angle benders, circle-curve benders, tube benders with and without mandrels, and scroll-spiral benders.

Manufactured from a cast iron monoblock and designed to process cold iron, it is extremely easy to use because it is managed and assisted by built-in software, which allows total accuracy and effectiveness of the bending system. The display shows the desired bending angle and constantly informs the operator about the position and displacements of the bending axis.

The software allows the storage of 45 bending programs, and tool changes are very quick and easy.

The machine can work in both manual and semi-automatic modes, reducing machining time and errors.

There is also the possibility of making the vice lock pneumatic or hydraulic and other customizations according to the needs of the individual customer, as happened in this case.
